Saint-Martin Women's 3x3 Takes Gold in Curaçao; PSA Hoops League Continues

Saint-Martin's women's 3x3 team returned from Curaçao with gold after going unbeaten at the all-female Her Way tournament in Willemstad. Emma Doolaeghe, Robin Ritsema, Lou Mataly, and Faye Vas represented the island and are already preparing for a December event in Martinique.

The squad is the only women's 3x3 team on the island, drawing players from both the French and Dutch sides. Since forming about a year ago, the team has partnered with RCM Ballers in Marigot and trains twice a week.

On the school scene, the Performance Sports Academy's second annual High School Basketball League is underway through October 17, with all 10 Dutch-side high schools competing. Playoffs are scheduled for October 14–15 and finals for October 17, after Milton Peters College won the inaugural title.
